Mitigation and Aggravating Factors and give Recommendation as to sanction delivered
Timeline: Within 5 working days from the hearing
Hear statements in mitigation (if decision is that allegations are true). The decision of the disciplinary tribunal must be communicated to the employee and if the decision is that the allegations are true than the employee must be afforded the opportunity to make statements in mitigation.
The disciplinary Panel should recess in order to consider the mitigating statements (if any) and to decide upon the outcome. The Employee is given the Right to Appeal before the termination letter is issued.
